3 months old!
Henry has hit the 3 month mark and boy, he's going at it with a bang. He is learning to play by himself so that mom and dad can do stuff like, um, go to the bathroom, without feeling tremendous amounts of guilt coming from the searing pitch of cries when we put him down to do our business. Now, thankfully, he sits happily in his bouncy chair, or lies in his crib watching his mobile. He also loves to watch the ceiling fans. He has deemed them his very own by laughing and pointing at them.
He's turning into a funny little kid with a very strong personality. For example, when I'm nursing, I find that not talking loudly or touching his back is best because I will get yelled at. Or, when burping it's best to pat on the back and not rub or we'll get yelled at. Rubbing bad. Very bad.
On the flip side, he wakes up nice and early with a huge smile on his face. First, he smiles when he greets us, then the ceiling fan above. "Hello fan, you are mine...all mine!!" is what we think when all limbs are moving and the baby 'aaahs and oooohs' when seeing the ceiling fan. He's also turning over on his belly and doing his little push ups for his neck muscles. We're so proud!!
Daniel made a little morph film that shows him from his second day to his three month pic. We love and miss you all!
